Originally founded in 2002 as a motorcycle hobby shop, Bad Habit Cycle Shop was an instant success as a motorcycle accessory and repair shop. It was soon discovered by a party planner to be a fantastic, trendy venue for private and public events.

Styled somewhat after West Coast Choppers and Orange County Choppers famous on television at the time, Bad Habit became very popular as a location for corporate events and top acts. Corporations like Pacific Life Insurance, the San Diego Marriott and Rhapsody.com used the 15,000 sq ft facility for private events. Bad Habit also hosted many charity events and large public parties. It became obvious that the event business was more profitable than the original concept of the bike shop. By 2007, the business was incorporated in California. Later the name was changed to Paper Crown, Inc., which now specializes in managing special events.

In the summer of 2011, Paper Crown, Inc. was approached by Eventmasters, a 16 year old San Diego based expo event company with an amazing opportunity to bring back the greatest kids expo in San Diego. The original Parent and Child Expo, founded by Monica and Gus Giobbi, has a successful history dating back to 1994. Now with help from the original founders, Paper Crown, Inc. is presenting the new San Diego Kids Expo & Fair on September 15th and 16th, 2012 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
